Peoples Choice Award for ‘Fanfare’ I’m very proud to announce that my pastel painting of a galloping horse, ‘Fanfare’, has won the Peoples Choice Award at the Patchings 2012 Annual Art Competition and Exhibition in the Professional category. This award means the most to me because it’s chosen by members of the public and I’m delighted that Fanfare was so well received by visitors to the exhibition. Many thanks to everyone who voted for me! My prize comes in the form of materials of my choice by Clairefontaine, and as I’m such a big fan of their Pastelmat paper it will certainly be useful.
